Newly appointed Arsenal Sporting Director, Gaspar Edu and his family are in Rwanda for vacation.
Edu, a legend at the English Premier League side Arsenal is in Rwanda for a holiday where he will enjoy the culture, adventure and wildlife.
“Welcome to Rwanda, Edu! The @Arsenal Sporting Director and club legend, Edu Gaspar, and his family are in the country for a holiday and they will experience Rwanda’s incredible culture, adventure and wildlife,” noted the tweet by Visit Rwanda.
Edu also flew Rwanda’s official airline, RwandAir. The government of Rwanda have a sponsorship with Arsenal, with a logo used on the Arsenal jersey ‘Visit Rwanda’.
Ever since the sponsorship with Arsenal, several football stars have continued to visit Rwanda to experience the huge tourism potential.
Edu is a Brazilian former professional football player who played for Corinthians in Brazil, Arsenal in England, and Valencia in Spain across a twelve-year career.
