Tanzania Premier League: Simba SC down Ruvu Shooting 4-0

Simba Sports Club picked maximum points after a 4-0 win against Ruvu Shooting FC in NBC Tanzania Premier League match played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Saturday.

Veteran striker John Bocco netted a hattrick, while Shomari Kapompe netted the other goal to ensure the reds picked a comfortable win.

The win sends Simba SC above their rivals and reigning Champions Young Africans SC. Simba SC now have 27 points after 12 matches played, while Young Africans who humbled Singida Big Stars FC 4-1 on Friday are second with 26 points and 10 matches played.

Simba SC are also one of the teams in the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) that have qualified for the group stage of the 2022-2023 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
