Zambian International Kings Kangwa has promised to deliver for his new team, FC Crvena Zvezda.
The midfielder joined the Serbian SupeLiga side, also commonly known as Red Star Belgrade on Monday.
“I cannot wait to get started and deliver for my new club,” said the 23-year old Kangwa.
“The Zambia international midfielder Kings Kangwa is our first recruit in this transfer window. The talented 23-year-old arrived from Russian club Arsenal Tula and was presented to the press at Rajko Mitić Stadium,” said the Club on their website on Monday.
The Club said they are happy to sign the energetic player who will add pace and creativity to our team as we embark on another European quest.
“Thank you for your warm welcome and all the kind words. I’m pleased to be here and I cannot wait to show what I can do on the pitch. Several of my former teammates and coach Miodrag Božović have strong connections to Crvena zvezda and every one of them was really supportive and enthusiastic about my move,” said Kangwa.

He becomes the second African player on the team squad. Cote d’Ivoire’s Sekou Sanago is the other player.
Kangwa who is a free-kick specialist has netted one goal in his 13 appearances for the Zambian national team, Chipolopolo.
