Tanzania’s Samatta scores a brace in PAOK’s 5-0 win in Greece

DAR ES SALAAM, Feb 10. – Tanzania’s Mbwana Samatta netted a brace to help PAOK defeat OFI 5-0 in a Greek Stoiximan Super League match played on Saturday.

The Taifa Stars captain netted after 2 minutes to give his team the lead, and later scored the second after 67 minutes at the Thodoros Vardinoyannis Stadium in Heraklion.

Giannis Michailidis and Dimitris Pelkas also scored in open play, while Stephan Schwab converted a penalty.

In the matches played on Sunday table leaders Olympiakos SFP settled for a 1-1 draw against AGS Asteras Tripolis, while second placed AEK defeated MGS Panserraikos 5-0.

Samatta’s team PAOK are currently placed 4th with 40 points after 22 matches played, while Olympiakos SFP leads with 48 points.
