South Sudan Football President calls for support from Oil Companies

_{The President of the South Sudan Football Associations (SSFA) has called upon companies in the oil sector in the country to support football.}

_{Gen. Augustino Maduot Parek made the call yesterday during the 2022 South Sudan Oil & Power conference held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Juba.}

_{He called upon investors and particularly those in the oil sector to come and support football because it is a big sport that needs a lot of funding.}

_{Maduot made it clear that companies can come in to support not only football, but other sporting disciplines as well.}

_{The SSFA President has always maintained that sports is a good unifying factor that can bring all South Sudanese together. “Sports and football in particular needs a lot of support becaude it will help to bring all of us in South Sudan together,” says the SSFA President.}

_{Maduot was voted President of SSFA last year in July to replace Francis Amin.}
