The The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), has announced that the national team will two high profile international matches in March, 2023.
According to the communication issued on Wednesday, the Atlas Lions will host Brazil on March 25th at the Grand Stadium in Tangier, and later travel to face South American team, Peru three days later at the Metropolitan Stadium in France.
Last December Morocco became the first African nation to qualify for the last four of the FIFA World Cup held in Qatar. Under coach Walid Regragui Morocco went on to bow out at the semi final stage to France.
The Morocco team went on to finish fourth after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Croatia in the third-place playoffs. Although they did not win the trophy the Moroccan team proved a point for Africa with the best performance ever by an African team.
