The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe will hold meeting with all the six Zones in Cairo on Monday.
The meetings to also be attended by the CAF Secretary General Veron Mosengo-Omba will take place at the Marriot Mena House Hotel.
Dr. Motepe will hold the meetings with the Zonal Unions ahead of the CAF Elective General Assembly slated for March 12th, 2025 at the same venue. He is already unopposed ahead of the General Assembly, while some members will be seeking election on the CAF Excom and others for the FIFA Council seat.
The CAF Presidents will start with an early meeting with WAFU A between 9-10am, and after an hour meets members of WAFU B. He will later meet members of CECAFA at 111-12noon. Dr. Motsepe will later meet the members from COSAFA, UNIFFAC and UNAF.
The day will be crowned with friendly match between CAF & FIFA President, and Legends to take place at the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) Technical Centre.
