The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe has described coach Pitso Mosimane as top quality.
Motsepe said this last weekend during the South African National Editors’ Forum function (SANEF).
“Mosimane is quality and that quality should not come cheap,” said Motsepe during the function. He also made it known that he wished Mosimane can become head coach of the South African national team Bafana Bafana.
Mosimane who also coached Motsepe’s team Mamelodi Sundowns a week ago parted ways with African giants Al Ahly.
“I wish Pitso Mosimane could coach Bafana Bafana. He is my favourite coach and I love him. He will always have a special place in my heart and I will even get the Motsepe Foundation to subsidise his salary,” added the CAF President.
Mosimane who lifted the Champions League trophy with Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016 and two with Al Ahly has not yet revealed his new move, although there are teams in the middle East that have reportedly showed interest in signing him.
