Eto’o, Fadiga to grace Tanzania Football Summit 2022 in Zanzibar

The President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) and former star player Samuel Eto’o has confirmed that he will attend the Tanzania Football Summit 2022.

Organised under AfriSoccer, the Summit will take place at the Golden Tulip Zanzibar Hotel in Zanzibar between June 24-25th, 2022.

“Yes I will attend the Summit in Zanzibar, “ confirmed Eto’o, a former star player with top sides like Barcelona, Chelsea and Inter Milan among others.

Former Seneglese International who also played professional football with top sides in Europe Khalilou Fadiga has also confirmed that he will attend the Summit.

Peter Simon, the AfriSoccer Chief Executive Officer told TalkSports Africa that several dignitaries have confirmed their participation. “We are happy that several top people who have been involved with football over the years will grace this Summit,” added Simon.

He said they are excited that Fadiga who attended the inaugural Tanzania Football Summit in 2021 has accepted to come again. Former Chelsea Coach Arvam Grant is also among the dignitaries expected.

The other guests expected to attend the Summit include; Marcio Maximo (former Tanzania coach), Leodegar Tenga (Chairman of the Tanzania National Sports Council), Dr. Jomo Sono (Club Owner in South Africa), Lucas Redebe (Former South African International), Marcos Pelegrin (MD for Laliga in South Africa), and Senzo Hammilton Mazingiza (Administrator at Young Africans SC, Tanzania).
