The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe will visit South Sudan and Uganda later this week.
Dr. Motsepe together with the CAF General Secretary, Véron Mosengo-Omba are expected to arrive in Juba on Thursday for few hours before heading to Uganda.
Victor Lawrence Lual, the General Secretary of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) confirmed to will visit Uganda this week.
He said the CAF President who has been invited by the SSFA President, General Augustino Maduot Parek will tour some of the football projects in Juba and also open the Pan African Schools tournament at the Buluk Training Center. “ Dr. Motsepe will also meet the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit and the Sports Minister Dr. Albino Bol Dhieu,” added Lual.
In Uganda Dr. Mostepe is expected to arrive on Thursday afternoon at the invitation of Eng. Moses Hassim Magogo, the President of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) and CAF Exco member.
The Uganda Football body, FUFA confirmed that Dr. Motsepe will meet the Ugandan President President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among, FUFA Executive and key football stakeholders.
