Tunisia stopped Iran 2-0 in an international friendly match played behind closed doors in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday.
The two teams used the friendly match to prepare ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup which kicks off in Qatar this weekend.
Naïm Sliti scored in the 85th minute from a penalty, while Ali Abdi made it 2-0 four minutes later.
Iran who are handled by former Manchester United assistant coach Carlos Queiroz last week the Tunisian team also defeated Nicaragua 1-0 in a friendly match played in Tehran.
Tunisia are in Group D together with France, Australia and Denmark, while Iran are in Group B along with England, Wales and the U.S.
